Response: |
Middle-school
students and music instructors were interviewed in four regions
of the country. Prototype chairs were transported to
schools in each region for evaluation by students and
teachers. Statistical analysis indicated the determining
factors for comfort, perceived performance improvements and
style. |

Impact: |
The
critical design factors were determined for the chair and the
chair line. The project was placed on hold when a critical
advocate left the company. |
