Respondents
from selected contracting businesses and proven, savvy
homeowners were recruited to participate in discussion
groups. Each person performed three different tasks with
several different competitive and prototype machines, then
participated in a group discussion. |

Requirements
and performance of multi-purpose tools were determined.
Design refinements were undertaken based upon this input. |
