How to create a shared vision and plan for our team?

Question: Our marketplace has changed rapidly in the last few years and so have some of our top people.  How do we create a common vision of who we are and who we want to be?  As the top management team, how do we begin to discuss the thorny personnel issues among and about ourselves?
Methods: Group Facilitation, Strategic Planning
Response: Working with the CEO, we developed an agenda for a six-hour meeting of the management committee.  We facilitated the meeting which involved dramatically changing the objectives and flow to accommodate all committee requirements and to address newly arisen issues.
Impact: A common vision was obtained and key actions assigned to individuals in top management.  The core management team has been altered to meet these needs.
